Yves Tomas

Born in Bristol and moving to London in his early teens Yves Tomas’ upbringing was steeped in the rich musical heritage both cities had to offer, most prominently in his environment was the underground dance music and rave scenes of his parents generation. When Yves took flight on his own path of discovery it was grime and 140 that first took hold. All these important influences are very present in Yves’ unique and exciting take on forward-thinking club music.

Yves started out on his industry journey in recording studios around London with some of the most prominent grime artists in the scene and later engineering for chart topping mainstream pop acts. Before being scooped up during the lockdown for his own productions by Rekids Radioslave who has an historically keen ear for emerging talent! That’s when the next phase of the journey began and it’s been an extremely eventful one so far.

Fast forward a year and Yves has under his belt 3 commissioned runway compositions and performances in Copenhagen and London back to back, composing award winning adverts and short film scores on Nowness, having project partnerships with brands like Braindead, Sacai, Supreme and Nike, becomming, a BBC Radio mainstay, garnering support from some of the music scenes leading and most most important figures, to building his own commercial studio from the proceeds and launching his own label which has quickly been establishing itself as one to watch, Yves certainly shows no signs of slowing down.
