Utopia Presents

Utopia represent’s London’s new generation of House music and beyond, hosted by JJAMZ, KISA, Emil James, D’Cruz & Oscillation. The label, collective and community play music from across the soulful dance music spectrum, pushing the sounds of of Deep & Soulful House, Afro-Electronic, Broken Beat, Disco, Rare Groove & more. The crew take inspiration from the legacy of community and experimentation of those who came before them, the likes of Plastic People, Masters at Work and Bugz in the Attic.

The party started in Manchester as a student night, bringing through artists like Wookie, Shy One and Bawo to Northern dancefloors. The community has since grown hugely, with parties in Bristol, New York and London as well as a host of festival appearances and takeovers. 2024 also saw the launch of Utopia as a label, with releases from Last Nubian, Sophia Harari and Alex Phountzi, as well as from founders JJAMZ and Emil James. Alongside this they began publishing articles sparking dialogues around their corner of London’s dance scene, sharing exclusive interviews with artists and community leaders such as Emma Warren, Roska and Toribio.

As the community continues to grow, expect a growing catalogue of releases, shows and articles, as well as more exciting collaborations with our brothers and sisters across the pond and our worldwide community. Lock in to Rinse FM every Wednesday from 3-5PM, and take in the sounds of Utopia.
