Sasha Steppa hails from Bristol and heralds the new wave of sound system selectas. From a young emerging, vital vinyl collector of strictly Roots, Reggae and Dub she has grown her presence in the UK & Europe over the past 10 years.
Sasha has been a vital pillar of the Bristol music scene for some time and is now the first female in Bristol to launch a Roots and Dub orientated soundsystem, built by the legendary QSS. Having performed at festivals such as Glastonbury, Boomtown, Love Saves the Day and Rototom Sunsplash, one of Europe’s biggest reggae festivals, it’s safe to say that Sasha is playing her part in putting Roots and Dub Music on the Map.
Sasha’s mission is to spread the message of the music, that message being peace, love and unity as well as inspiring her audience to embrace who they are throughout her performances. “Love and Unity is the key to set us free.
