Overview Music

Founded in December 2018 by Peter Maxted (Energy) and Oliver Dumas (sub-antics) Overview has quickly established itself as one of the stand out labels of the past 5 years and a force to be reckoned with, receiving popular and critical acclaim from fans and industry peers alike.

With a lazer sharp focus on quality and consistency, Overview has spawned multiple hit records, organised shows in prestigious venues worldwide and proved itself a producer hotbed, launching the careers of numerous artists such as Waeys (2021 Best Newcomer @ D&BA Awards) Klinical, gyrofield, Wingz, Operate and more.

Overview started it’s journey with a residency at the Volks Nightclub in Brighton. Since then, the events have expanded to major cities across the UK, including London, Manchester, Cardiff, and Bristol, where they’ve hosted show at venues such as E1, Lakota, Trinity Centre, and Studio 338. Moreover, Overview has extended their reach beyond the UK, now having hosted nights in Germany, Netherlands, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and more.

Aside from music and events, in 2022 Overview Music committed to supporting the wider drum and bass community with it’s mentorship program for female identifying producers. The initiative, which has now partnered with Dynamics, aims to support upcoming artists with production lessons & mental health support to help navigate and excel in the music industry.

In its first chapter, Overview has experienced a whirlwind of success and has continued to grow stronger. The label now has its sights firmly set on the next horizon.
