Bristol based duo Monkey Wrench, otherwise known as Liam and Declan, have been writing music together since 2012. Gaining early support on BBC Radio 1 from B. Traits with their Carnival House track 'Colombia'.

Moving forward from their fruition the boys collaborated with good friends Spoils, to produce Enemies In The Dance EP; which gained massive support including DJ EZ, My Nu Leng and DJ Target. This led to remix work for some big labels including Mad Decent and Sony Music.

2019 saw the duo’s Afro House track 'Lakossa' featured on Gutterfunk’s Various Artist’s LP, alongside established names like Addison Groove, DJ Die, and Dismantle.

The duo has since self-released a stream of projects, including their bootleg of ‘Eddie Kendricks - Intimate Friends’ and their ‘Edits’ series, which gained support from DJs like Laurent Garnier, Skream, and Monki.

Monkey Wrench now hosts a monthly radio show on Bristol's SWU.FM, which features a melting pot of different genres, ranging from funk, soul, jazz, disco, house, and hip hop. The duo's eclectic taste in music ensures that there is something for everyone. Their show is a perfect blend of old-school classics and new releases, making it a great way to discover new music.
