Meena Sears is a writer, researcher, and DJ whose work has been featured in publications including GAUCHOWORLD and Mixmag. With an appreciation for historical context, her work aims to connect the roots of dance music with its ever-evolving expressions today. She has previously spotlighted scenes and movements across the globe, bridging their current sounds with their musical origins, and platforming underrepresented or emerging voices. She was also involved in selecting Mixmag’s Top 100 DJs in 2024, demonstrating her far-reaching expertise and ear for talent. Musically, Meena has a particular love for deep, soulful and percussive sounds.
