Maya Jama

Maya Jama originally joined Rinse in 2012 after meeting Geeneus at the Rinse HQ in Brick Lane, and quickly became part of the Rinse family. Maya’s Drive Time Show was one of the staple shows for Rinse which brought a big personality and easy listening whilst keeping with the Rinse underground music tone, making a lively end to the workday. Airing from 4PM to 7PM, the show featured an eclectic mix of music.

Over the years Maya welcomed a variety of guests, including musicians, actors, and influencers, who joined her for candid interviews and engaging conversations. Notable guests included music stars like Stormzy, AJ Tracey, Alesha Dixon and more, who all shared exclusive insights into their careers and latest projects, whilst having fun in true Maya fashion.

Although Maya Jama’s Drive Time Show is no longer on the air, Maya remains a true family member of Rinse and an important part of our history.
