London Elektricity, born Tony Colman, is a renowned British drum and bass producer, DJ, songwriter, business visionary and founder of the Hospital Records label. Colman has been involved in the music industry since the early 1990s and in Jungle/D&B since 1996.
Colman started his musical career as a guitarist in several bands before discovering the art of sampling. His first record, ‘Stories’ by IZIT charted in 1998. He formed Hospital Records with Chris Goss and has since released numerous successful albums and singles on the label, including "Syncopated City" and "Are We There Yet?"
As a DJ, London Elektricity has played at some of the world's most renowned venues and festivals, including Glastonbury, Fabric, and Hospitality in the Park. He is known for his energetic and soulful sets, which blend together elements of drum and bass, funk, and jazz, and Tony presented over 450 episodes of the award-winning Hospital Podcast from 2006 - 202.
