Joe Armon-Jones is a keyboardist, producer, songwriter and bandleader based in south London. An alumnus of the influential jazz education programme Tomorrow’s Warriors and a founding member of the Mercury Prize-winning , his virtuoso piano playing and improvisatory talents have made him a sought-after collaborator, lending his talents to projects spanning jazz, dub, electronic, pop, and hip-hop
Armon-Jones released his first solo album, Starting Today, on ’s Brownswood Recordings, in 2018, following it up the next year with Turn To Clear View – a sumptuous blend of jazz, funk and rap featuring appearances from and that was named one of the best 10 releases of the year in Time magazine. In 2021 Armon-Jones launched his own record label, Aquarii Records, as an outlet for his solo and collaborative work, which has included 2022’s A Way Back, a speaker-shaking EP made with dubstep pioneer , and 2023’s Archetype, a club-ready link-up with his long-term creative partner . In 2025, he embarks on his biggest creative project yet – the two-part opus All The Quiet.
