About
Herrensauna is a Berlin-based artist collective and event series that has significantly influenced the global techno and queer nightlife scenes. Founded in 2015 by DJs Nicolas Endlicher (known as MCMLXXXV) and Cem Dukkha (Cem), the collective emerged as a response to Berlin’s evolving club culture, aiming to create inclusive, hedonistic spaces for diverse communities, pushing the boundaries of club music.
Initially hosting events in Berlin’s Neukölln district, Herrensauna quickly gained a reputation for its intense, high-energy techno and bold music parties. The collective later established residencies at renowned venues such as Tresor in Berlin and Basement in New York City.
Over the years, Herrensauna has expanded its roster to include resident DJs like Salome, SPFDJ, DJ Saliva, Slim Soledad and JASSS, each contributing unique sounds that enrich the collective’s musical diversity. Beyond event curation, Herrensauna operates a record label showcasing a range of electronic music styles and has ventured into fashion collaborations, notably with Carhartt WIP and Buffalo more recently.
