Emma G presents Integral Records

Fashionista by day, DJ queen by night, Emma G is a well-known fixture in NZ’s underground dance scene, and for the past decade has continued to promote her love of intelligent music here in London through her role as Label Manager for Integral Records and the Soulside Sessions brand she created with MC Tali.

Growing up in a musical family, with a set of turntables at home belonging to her DJ-producer brother, naturally led to an early discovery of adoration for electronic music. Debuting on Auckland’s airwaves in 1998 as little “Miss Green” on legendary student radio BFM, she became a young devotee of early Jungle and Drum & Bass.

Honing her craft as a teenager in the ‘90s; it was an exciting time for underground music and Emma began experimenting with rave music, House and Techno. Gaining residencies all over Auckland, she quickly became one of the hottest DJs on the club and party circuit and in 2001 was selected for what was to become a long-time stint hosting weekly on New Zealand dance radio station George FM.
