Record collector from the age of 13, uncle mo's musical outlook draws influence from time spent living in Malawi, and the UK rave scene, where he spent his formative years as a DJ.
Charity worker by day, by night he's a resident on Threads Radio, and runs East London event Take Flight; an all-vinyl journey through afro-leaning disco sounds.
Since 2008, under different aliases, he's shared stages with the likes of Gilles Peterson, DJ Marky, Maribou State and Yazmin Lacey – with his DJ sets earning praise from artists such as Loefah and Jamie xx.
