About
dBridge is a British music producer and DJ who has been at the forefront of the industry since the early 1990s. He is widely regarded as a pioneer of Drum and Bass and one of its most influential figures, having started his apprenticeship working with Lennie De Ice, who is credited with inventing Jungle/Drum and Bass.
Alongside Jason Maldini, he went on to found the prominent DnB label Renegade Hardware, and later, the Drum and Bass supergroup Bad Company. In 2003, in search of more creative freedom, he established Exit Records which has become a defining label in the genre and has been pushing the boundaries for 20 years.
In addition to Exit Records, dBridge also co-founded the highly acclaimed Autonomic podcast series and record label with Instra:mental which gained them a residency at London's Fabric nightclub, with guests such as James Blake, Jimmy Edgar and Skream. This solidified his reputation as a leading figure in the electronic music community and showcased his willingness to experiment with multiple genres and styles.
His impact on the music scene has been recognised by fans and peers alike and he’s received numerous accolades, including awards from DJ Mag (Best compilation) and has been featured in several year-end lists of the best tracks/albums. He still regularly collaborates with a wide range of artists from different musical backgrounds and his music continues to inspire new generations of producers and fans.
