And the labels she loves? Everything from R&S and Ninja Tune to Rekids, Kompakt and Clone: Cici is an electronic tastemaker who also happens to know the history of acid house. Cici has also friends in high places. And that’s true of both artists and clubs. DJ Tennis, Nina Kraviz and Special Request are all fans of her sound, and the agenda-setting shows at Circo Loco were testament to that. Additionally, she’s released and remixed for Me Me Me, Man Power’s influential imprint, and she’s also just remixed the brand new single from Basement Jaxx.
