Producer and vocalist Amy Kisnorbo returns to her UK roots, landing in Bristol in 2020 having spent the previous 5 years honing her DJ skills and playing out under her moniker Alchemist in Australia. Becoming a mainstay of the warehouse and boutique festival scenes supporting a host of local and international talent, including acts such as Amit, Djinn, Fixate, Headland, J:Kenzo, Shades and VIVEK.
Since her return to the UK, Amy has had continued success, with releases such as her remix for Sam binga & Addison Groove ‘galectro' (PNPL), vocal feature on Oliver Yorke’s 'Touch' (CNVX), guest mixes for Om Unit on SWU Fm and J:Kenzo on Rinse FM, and her own SWU FM residency with guests such as The librarian, Niknak, A.Fruit, and sweetpea. And when it comes to club nights, some highlights have been playing for the Keep Hush turbo tour, Rupture, PNPL and most recently, Hvywght at Brixton Electric.
This only but adds to the last five years of several successes for Amy, Her debut 6 track EP ‘volition’ which received vast support (Radio 6, Rinse Fm, Swu Fm), vocal features on Crypticz tracks ‘Ocean Blue’ (Western Lore) + ’Chrysalis’ (Cosmicbridge), and Collaborations with Royalston (Medschool) on his album 'Popular Mechanics'.
2023 is looking strong already, having just dropped her club focused EP 'Verb Works' on Sam Binga's PNPL label in March which saw support from the likes of LCY, Jossy Mitsu, Borai, Stingray and many more features and releases to be released later in the year, and club shows alongside some of the UK's finest.
