Aletha began her DJ career in 2017 becoming a regular contributor to radio. Starting with monthly shows on KMAH Radio, Narr, Sable Radio & Melodic Distraction, and most recently, Worldwide FM. Her versatile and intriguing track selection has also led to multiple guest shows on stations like Jazz FM, Rinse FM and NTS, along with a number of podcasts such as the ‘Shine a Light on’ mix for Ransom Note, ‘Subculture mix’ for Sub Club and the Dimensions mix series.
Selecting an eclectic mix of jazz, broken beat and soulful house, Aletha began supporting the likes of Bradley Zero, Mr. Scruff and Zakia in clubs around the UK. With her eclectic style Aletha has since performed at coveted events varying from listening bars such as NAM & Brilliant Corners, to large warehouses, such as Printworks & The Beams. She has also spent the last 2 seasons as a resident for Warehouse Project in Manchester (her home city).
More recently Aletha’s love of electronic music can be seen throughout her sets. Expect genre-blending sets filled with acid, house, breaks & electro. Hailing from Manchester, but with strong connections to Leeds, Liverpool & London, in 2022, Aletha has played at some of the UK’s finest and most prestigious clubs & festivals, ranging from slots at Fabric, The White Hotel, Wire, Colour Factory to appearances at We Out Here, Baltic Weekender and Dimensions Festival.
