Based in Bristol, born in London, Portway is building steam in the underground bass music scene. After a slow build up since the start of his production journey, Portway soon began releasing tracks on Cloudcore, Elicit, Gimme A Break and Trax Haven to name a few.
His sound is characterised by shining chords, deep basses, a fusion of sharp sound design and larger than life atmospheres rolling under a focus on intricate rolling percussion. A focal point of his sets is pushing a wide range of tracks ranging from anywhere under the 80-200bpm margin.
